Discrimination

Help when you were treated unfairly because of who you are.

I am passionate about this practice area. I want to advocate for people who were treated unfairly because they are women, because they are transgender, because of race or disability, or because of any other protected characteristic.

That can be at work, in housing, at school, or in a public place. New Jersey’s Law Against Discrimination covers a wide set of characteristics. I will tell you plainly if the facts do not fit a claim, or if the case needs a larger civil-rights team than a solo office.

  • Sex, including as a woman and including pregnancy
  • Gender identity, including transgender people
  • Race and color
  • Disability
  • Other protected characteristics under New Jersey law
  • Employment, housing, education, and public accommodations, when they fit

A letter to one employer noticing possible discrimination is a published flat fee of $100. That is the letter only. A discrimination case after that is hourly, after intake, and only if I take it.

Results depend on the facts and the law. I am not advertising as a certified specialist.
